Shuck and Shack
Thanks to Mike and Sarah Little Lookingbill, owners of Shuck and Shack in Brunswick Forest, for your generous donation and recognition of Leland VFW Post 12196.
Coat Drive
Post 12196, with the help of Deb Pickett-Financial Advisor for Edward Jones and Fuzzy Peach of Leland, pulled off another very successful coat drive to assist Brunswick Family Assistance. Many thanks also to Comrade Warren Beard for taking the lead on the project.
Veterans Day Ceremony Leland Middle School
Principal Shawn Black has invited Post 12196 to be their guest for their Veterans Day Program, scheduled to begin with breakfast for Post members at 8 am. The program will begin at 9 am. The Guest speaker will be Post Commander Gerald Decker. All Post members are invited and urged to attend.
