The Leland VFW Post 12196 will be hosting a National Vietnam War Veterans Day on March 29, 2024 at 10 AM. The event will be held at the Blossoms Restaurant (Magnolia Greens), 1800 Tommy Jacobs Drive, Leland, NC 28451.  The commemoration recognizes all who served on active duty in the U. S. Leland Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post 12196 will meet at Panera Bread in Waterford on Saturday November 25 from 10-11:30 am. Cemetery Flags with Post 68 – May 30th

Joint event with American Legion Post 68 to place flags on cemetery graves of local veterans on Monday, May 30th. Meet 9am at First Baptist Church on Village Road in Leland. Bring bug spray, water and a screwdriver (in case the ground is hard)
