Dear Comrade
My name is Gerald Decker and I am the current Commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 12196 Leland, North Carolina. You have been identified as member of the VFW and as a potential candidate to join Post 12196. I hereby invite you to join us.
We actively support veterans and their families in need, the families of men and women currently serving our country, and a number of community activities. We are a social network, involved in the community as ambassadors and advocates for all veterans. You can also visit our Facebook page to get a glimpse of some of the activities which we have been involved in.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we have been unable to hold our regular monthly membership meetings. You will be notified by mail or email when we can schedule regular meetings once again. Our meetings are held at Blossom’s Restaurant at Magnolia Greens Golf Course in Leland on the second Tuesday of every month starting at 6 pm. Some members gather at 5pm for a period of socializing.
