Leland VFW Post 12196 will host a Can Drive on February 11, 2021, at Leland’s Founders Park (113 Town Hall Drive). Post Members will be on hand from 10 am until 3 pm to accept ‘drive-by’ donations of canned goods and other nonperishable food items. Members will also distribute Buddy Poppies to donors and the public. Our Post Service Officer will be on hand to answer any questions you may have regarding the PACT Act.
All food items will be donated to Brunswick Family Assistance (BFA) for local distribution.
Post Commander Gerald Decker invites individuals and families to stop by and say ‘hello’ to our vets, enjoy some patriotic music, and donate to help the neediest of families in our area.
